The Naughty Corner

Re worth the trouble That is if Lola accepts Gray’s conditions Every time the twins misbehave it’s Lola who must take their punishment With every naughty infraction Lola gets and accepting of the penalties She has no idea just how bad a girl she can be or how much fun she’ll have getting what she deserve. I received a free copy of The Naughty Corner from Berkley Trade for reviewing purposes Thank you because this is a book I would not have picked out on my own and I was pleasantly surprisedLola Cook is single and NOT looking for a relationship She s a technical writer trying to get a cell phone manual out to print by the end of the summer and the fact that her sister just dumped her nephews on her so she can tour Europe over the summer has not helped with the deadline The little terrors William and Harry named after the princes of course misbehave constantly To get them out of the house so she can actually accomplish some work Lola enrolls them in a football camp run by Gray Barnett As expected the twins don t act any differently at football camp Gray Barnett is about to kick them out of the camp when he decides to strike a deal with Lola they can continue on in the camp as long as Lola takes their punishments for them Lola can refuse the deal if she wants to walk away at any time but she doesn t want to Something about Gray lures her in and soon their little game is about than just punishmentAs I said before I typically do not read erotica One of the reasons for that is that I like at least some semblance of a plot and that s where a lot of erotica falls short Most of it these days seems to follow the same formula of innocent young woman who needs to be shown the ways of the world by a possessive older billionaire Not my kind of thing The Naughty Corner however is different Rather than a book full of steamy sex tied together with a few scenes outside of the bedroom this book mostly consists of scenes of Lola with her nephews Lola at work Lola with her best friend Lola worrying about a stalker the twins with their new friend Arby Gray with his son Gray with his ex wife Gray at work et cetera and is just accentuated with sexytimesAdditionally Jasmine Haynes made me care about the characters I was concerned about Lola and her stalker problems I too was suspicious of the twins and their sudden angelic behavior I wanted Gray to admit to Lola that he was starting to have feelings for her I wanted to talk some sense into Gray s ex wife I wanted to know who Arby wasOverall The Naughty Corner was a very uick very engaging read Although it s not my usual type of book I could barely put it down Given the chance I would definitely read by Jasmine Haynes

Somebody’s been a bad girl Writer Lola Cook is on a deadline Meeting it gets twice as difficult when she finds herself in the unwelcome role of babysitter for her nephews Two months with the twin teenage terrors is too much for Lola until she has a brilliant idea send the boys to football camp That’ll at l. 35 stars great book but I wanted romanceJasmine Haynes books are always good just always This one was nice and long and kept my attention throughout the book even though it was not a very emotional read The one time that I got all choked up was when the cat went missing I had to keep reading but then that was resolved very uickly so just the way that this author writes can have me glued to my e reader she is that great as an authorThe characters in this book were funny sexy with an experienced outlook on life yet brought a freshness to the story This was because of the naughty parts of the book which were fun to read about The buildup to the sexy parts of this book were nil there was one conversation the first time they met where the H declared what he wanted and from then on it was almost as if the two of them knew each other better than shown in the book There was one gagging scene that made me want to look away because the H gags the h ties up her hands he was very much aware of her whole hearted participation yet did not give her some way to indicate a safe word I thought that was very odd It made my stomach churn a bit but all ended well Through the book there were moments where Gray and Lola were together but seemed like just moments in time once over were forgotten until the next one and so there was not much romance just one episode of kinky sex after another Very well written erotica no doubt but still lacking the connection that was suggested throughout the book At the end the crisis was dealt with almost too smoothly for the magnitude of the crime and once again that extra bit of romance was missing that would make me believe that these two would be happy together in a relationship Gray does not explain anything to Lola or console her in anyway and she is just as ready to brush off the issue It was strange that Gray and Lola were really falling in love and as grown up people were not able to even spend one night together once during the course of the book because they wanted it that way I would have been convinced of the love confession at the end if they were generous with each other outside of the kinky sex that they enjoyedSo for a long book written by one of my favorite authors this book had all lots of kinky naughty moments and great sex scenes yet lacked the emotion I was looking for in a romance

Jasmine Haynes writes erotica Not adult romance Not penny dreadfuls hidden in the back racks of an adult shoppe If this was a movie it would be difficult to categorize in American cinema For the sheer explicitness of the sub
