Something in the Wine The Moonstone Series #1

All her life Annie suffered through her brother’s constant practical jokes Now he sets her up on a blind date with Drew a les. I must admit that this book had everything I search for in a good FF romance book It could have been a 10 stars book it was so romantic and everything felt so right Jae has a way with words Her book made me laugh get little butterfly s from the romantic vibe she creates and sometimes takes my breath away with anticipation But it had one little problemlet me explainview spoilerOne non existent love scene s at the end that was a big problem Damn I hate it when that happens especially with a book this good and a author with such a gift of writing I thought if anyone can give these characters a perfect love scene it s this authorThe non existence of it left me disappointed and that while it was one of the most romantic books I ve read for a long timePlease don t get me wrong it is not the amount of sex scenes that determines the uality of a book for me But the importance of it is something I can t ignore For me it definitely adds something very important to a romance story It s called making love for a reason It a a way to show you re love for someone without using words and therefor an absolute must in an romance novel It s the most intimate thing two people can share it s giving all of you and at the same time accepting all that is offered in return How can this special moment between two people not exist in an romance bookI think the strength of a brilliant author is to create a perfect balance between romance and erotica A great love scene for me contains love and lust all together but it s almost an art to create a scene that feels real and exiting at the same time For me there is a thin line between keeping it romantic and going to far to create a cheap sex vibe Fortunately there are a few writers who have mastered the art of writing love scene s between woman Writers like Radclyffe and Lyn Gardnercan take my breath away with there words So the bottom line is for me a book without a love scene is an love story without an ending so it leaves me hanging for something I was longing forAnd that s not the feeling a good romance should leave behind It should be magical and heartwarming hide spoiler

Bian winemaker even knowing his sister is straight Annie and Drew decide to turn the tables on him by pretending to fall in lov. I was a little hesitant to read the older version of this book based on the reviews I always pushed this at the end of my to read list because of all those complaints But got curious with the revised edition I m really glad I didn t pass upThis book will surely go to my favoritesI really like the character growth on this book especially with Annie Unlike most of the push and pull stories that I ve read this one stands outAnnie is afraid and confused but one thing I really like about her is that she s willing to try despite all her doubts She s willing to risk though she s scared and the negativity on her head is eating her She s of a doormat and I really feel bad for her Her parents are too self centered to care for her and at one point I m thinkIng that maybe there s a twist that she s really not their daughter or somethingHer brother is annoying too He always tricked Annie to the point that it s really insensitive and out of lineDrew s another favorite of mine She s really patient and understanding She s the perfect girlfriend for me This 2016 version is a must read for meI don t mind the long read It s really worth it And I still want to read of them pBtw what s the difference between the older version and this I really enjoyed the bonus short story Seduction for beginners Annie s POV Solid 5 Favorites
