Rved herself a place in the nation’s heart and her romance with Tom the store’s boss has finally blossomedNow summertime has come to Mulberry on Sea and Georgie is in great demand The town is holding a big summer festival and she and her mates from Carrington’s are planning on ma. Having read the other books in this series I was looking forward to reading this one However I have to say I was very disappointed I actually went off the main character Georgie and although the book is passable to read ok for a light read on the train etc I was just glad to get to the end of it and I shan t be reading any of this series I think the author struggled with this one I found it rushed and rather silly I know it s fiction but I did find that even this stretched my imagination The ending was predictable but uite honestly I didn t really care in the end This series has had its dayI also found the way it was written having an effect on me very garbled to me and I have to say the amount of times Georgie says Oh my God really becomes tiresome and also the use of the F word is uite unnecessary Working in libraries I think there will be many readers of Chick lit who won t appreciate this and it actually doesn t serve any additional purpose to the plot There is a time and place for the use of this word in literature but this is not it and is another reason why I went off Georgie who just becomes vacuous and materialistic as time goes on She becomes very tiresome If the idea is for the reader to like the main character it isn t working Sadly I have to say that in the last few years looking at everything I have recently read this is the worst book so farHugely disappointing I actually think I could write a better one
