    Despite authors stating on the cover of the book that it is good for self study it is actually not While the book teaches you a nice amount of vocabulary and 150 kanji it does not explain the grammar thoroughly and most of the time I had to figure out myself using google and dictionary of Japanese grammar why

    I'll be honest I didn't finish this book It had a lot of useful information but I felt it would be useful in a classroom setting with a teacher I didn't find it helpful for self study
